Business Situation

The Client's objective is to build an application that organizes trips and manages all the related information like name, see location, change the location manually and view on the map, set date & time, fetch date & time for a stop, and add as many trips and pictures.

Challenges

The challenges were:

• Engaging and intuitive user interface.
• Get the location and time automatically for ease of use.
• Zoom facility in the map view.
• Able to add photos from the photo gallery in the application and also take photo through the application and add it instantly.
• Able to add any number of stops in a trip.

Technical Solution

Q3 came up with a dedicated team of developers and QA experts to build a solution based on Client's requirements. The team of developers analyzed the requirements, designed the application as per Client's requirements, and finally came up with a solution that ensured all needs and objectives are covered.

The development team built an application that organized trips and managed trip related information from and to various places. The application incorporated various features such as setting of date and time, adding stops in a trip, receiving location immediately through GPS, viewing the location in a map, changing the location manually, and enabling the zoom facility in the map view. Map view is enabled by the zoom facility and a current location marker to let user know his current location on map easily.

Application manages all the notes, photos according to the places visited in any trip. This Application makes use of many core and in-built applications of the phone like Google Maps, GPS and Camera. The entire work is done is such a way that the user is never out of the application and uses the core applications as well.

The QA team also got involved from the very beginning to ensure desired quality and bug free software is provided timely that includes all the objectives laid by the Client.
